I studied at Edinburgh Napier from 2020 till 2024 and graduated with a 2:1. I learned a wide range of skills in both physical and digital formats, and about the design process as a whole, valuing not just the execution but the concept.
Studying at Napier allowed me to develop experience in many different areas of design and to hone my skills in the areas I felt most interested in.

LUX Creative Studio | Internship, June - July 2021
During a summer internship at LUX I was given a case study to research and design a canned wine brand. Through this role I had the opportunity to develop skills working collaboratively in a professional environment alongside professional designers over 6 weeks.
It gave me valuable insight into the design process from an agency perspective, improved my design practice through being mentored by senior creatives, and helped develop a keen interest in food and drink branding/packaging.
Escape Reality | Designer, November 2022 - August 2024
Escape Reality is an escape room business in Edinburgh, I was working there as a games master and then took on the role of a junior designer as part of my 3rd year of university, I stayed on as a freelancer till I left in 2024. The bulk of the work for Escape Reality was social media posts, posters advertising the rooms, and merchandise, but I also created a strategy for a rebrand and designed props for the rooms.
Throughout this experience I learned to have confidence in my skills, to be strong in my communication if the design is straying from the initial strategy, and that having experience/interest in the area you're designing for makes the end result stronger.
Freelancing| August 2024 - March 2025 / March 2026 - Current
After taking a break after graduating to travel the highlands and to live in the south of Wales for 6 months, I'm now freelancing. I've worked on projects such as a rebrand and website for a local celebrant, various designs for a bar in Edinburgh, and I'm about to begin work on posters for comedians performing during the Edinburgh Fringe.
